Galleria Six is pleased to announce its upcoming exhibition, from November 16 to December 24, 2013: Harry Callahan and Pierre Molinier.

Even though culturally and considerably so far apart from each other, they share the unique need to express their existential aesthetic research.

Molinier is a voyeur who tries in vain to exorcise his obsessions within the claustrophobic domestic walls. Callahan, on the other hand, is a nostalgic and “en plein air” witness of a suspended reality.

​

An arduous and fascinating combination, where the perversion of the French Molinier, with all his disguises and photomontages, deeply contrasts with the meta-aesthetics of Callahan the American. Yet another obvious proof provided by art. An art that lives beyond all intellectual and cultural barriers, as well as beyond time and space.

Un accostamento arduo e affascinante, dove la perversione del francese Molinier, con i suoi travestimenti e fotomontaggi, contrasta con la meta-estetica dell'americano Callahan. Ennesima scontata riprova dell'arte , che vive oltre ogni barriera culturale ed intellettuale, oltre il tempo e lo spazio.
