A great work by Sandra Gamarra, artist born in 1972 in Peru, will be exhibited at Galleria SIX.

Gamarra's painting aims at an investigation of reality in a conceptual key, also through the use of trompe-l'oeil, crossing the border between the space of the spectator and the space of art, where even the appropriation, always in a pictorial key, of the work of other artists becomes instrumental, opening infinite possibilities of interpretation of reality, which from Las Meninas by Velàzquez comes to us always equally enigmatic.

Sandra Gamarra 's work it has  exhibited last year at the 53rd edition of the Venice Biennale in the Italian-Latin American Pavilion, currently on display at the Sao Paulo Art Biennial. Among the public collections that permanently exhibit her work are The MOMA in New York and the TATE Gallery in London.

La galleria SIX, ha il piacere di comunicare che dal 30 ottobre verrà esposto un grande lavoro di Sandra Gamarra, artista nata nel 1972 in Perù .

La pittura della Gamarra mira ad un'indagine della realtà in chiave concettuale, anche attraverso l'uso del trompe-l'oeil, valicando il confine tra spazio dello spettatore e spazio dell'arte , dove anche l'appropriazione,pur sempre in chiave pittorica, dell'opera di altri artisti diventa strumentale, aprendo possibilità infinite dell'interpretazione del reale, che da las Meninas di Velàzquez giunge a noi sempre egualmente enigmatico.

Sandra Gamarra ha esposto lo scorso hanno alla 53° edizione della biennale veneziana nel padiglione Italo-Latino Americano,attualmente in mostra alla biennale d'arte di San Paolo. Tra le collezioni pubbliche che espongono suoi lavori in permanenza si annoverano Il MOMA di New York e la TATE Gallery di Londra
